01. Sustainable Agriculture
Sooner State Wellness grows using the best practice, sustainable agriculture method known as aquaponics. This certified organic system harnesses a natural relationship between plants and fish to provide nutrient-rich water to grow healthy, robust plants. Unlike other growing methods (such as hydroponics) no extra fertilizers, synthetic fertilizers, or artificial supplements are introduced to our plants. And we never use pesticides. This allows us to grow sustainably organic cannabis in an eco-friendly way that won't harm the environment or our consumers.
02. Purity
We believe that the choice to pursue nature-based medicine is tied to the demand for pure, holistic products. Sooner State Wellness grows clean to ensure clean products uncontaminated by chemical pesticides, herbicides, or other unwanted substances. In addition, our defined handling methods meet or exceed industry standards.
03. Reliable High Quality
Maintaining a reliable and high quality product is all about starting with premium materials and implementing the best processes. From our state-of-the-art grow facility and proven aquaponic technology to our seeds and supplies - every input has been researched, vetted, and verified. As part of the growing process, we monitor germination rates, water quality, and plant growth. Harvests are subject to chemical profile testing and active ingredient verification. In addition, we also maintain plantings, harvest date, batch, and crop identifiers which allows us to account for every ounce and how its grown. We focus on the details so that we can provide a product that consumers trust and return to time and again.
04. Experience
The passage of State Question 788 in June 2018 opened the door to a new industry in Oklahoma inspiring many entrepreneurs and farmers to try their hands at growing cannabis. Since cannabis is a non-native species, commercial cultivation requires the skillful implementation of a climate-controlled environment to produce year-long in the extreme Oklahoma weather. Challenges with weather, humidity, lighting, water, and grow medium can be daunting to first time growers resulting in much trial and error. For dependable commercial production, experience is key. The team at Sooner State Wellness is proud of the wealth of experience we have recruited. Our seasoned group includes sustainable agriculture specialists, engineers, horticulturists, agriculturist, and farmers. While Sooner State Wellness has benefited from out-of-state consultants, that majority of our team is local. Sooner State Wellness is proud to include some of the only licensed commercial hemp growers in Oklahoma. Their experience with the diverse extremes of Oklahoma weather and robust knowledge yield a continually strong supply of quality product now and into the future.
